Kelly helps people take themselves, their teams, and their work to the next level. She helps them identify and take concrete steps — “little bites” — that make a big difference.
Kelly became a coach to help people work better and feel better. She believes that it is possible to do hard work with joy and energy — and without burning out or harming ourselves or others. She believes that organizations can and should be inclusive, healthy spaces where everyone can thrive. She believes that each of us can and should step into our own highest vision of leadership and make the biggest impact we can.
She specializes in goal-setting and strategic planning; maximizing time and energy; leadership development; team development; healthy culture; and transitions, leave, and re-entry. And she is committed to equity, balance, and healthy, inclusive workplaces.
Prior to becoming a coach, she worked as a middle school teacher, nonprofit manager, training and development lead, and human resources partner. She also co-created the Shine360 Leadership Review, a 360-degree feedback coaching process for executives and school leaders.
Kelly is a certified practitioner of the Leadership Circle and the Myers-Briggs Typological Indicator. A member of the International Coach Federation, she trained in the Gallup Strengths Finder and the Immunity to Change coaching process at Harvard University. She earned a master’s degree in education policy from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s from Northwestern University.
